Helping Young People Elevate
The HYPE Center is a multi-service drop-in center designed by and for young people to easily access the services and resources they want from multiple providers under one roof.
We believe bringing services and opportunities together in one place will introduce young people to more resources in their community, reduce barriers to accessing services, and help young people succeed. We know that access to opportunities, meeting basic needs, and creating a safe space to belong are key factors in preventing vulnerabilities that lead to exploitation.
HYPE Center is located at 198 Potrero Ave. in San Francisco (at 15th street).

The HYPE Center is an initiative of Freedom Forward, located in the same building.
This means in addition to those listed above, you might see other members of our team around the office. Feel free to say hello!
BECOME A HYPE MEMBER
No referral is required to join HYPE. Young people age 14-24 can drop in for a New Member Orientation between 11am and 6pm, Monday - Thursday. If you are short on time or can't come during those hours, we recommend calling ahead to make an appointment.
New Member Orientation
The first time you visit HYPE, you'll receive a tour and overview of HYPE Center's offerings and agreements. When you're ready to join as a member, you'll complete a Member Profile and Consent Form. The whole process takes approximately 15 minutes and all new members receive a HYPE sweat suit!
