CHANEL DIONNE

Chanel Dionne is an empathetic and dedicated Survivor Leader who enjoys collaborating with survivors and community partners to build diverse, equitable, reliable strategies and support systems through training, advocacy, and group facilitation. Chanel Dionne thrives in cooperative, community-focused environments and proactively leads socially diverse activities to inspire inclusivity and accessibility for survivor participation.
Since 2013, Chanel Dionne has worked and volunteered in the anti-trafficking field under different roles and capacities from mentoring, program coordination, and program management. In 2015, Chanel Dionne became a self-published author and utilized her compassionate storytelling to raise awareness about pimp-controlled trafficking in our communities. In 2018, Chanel Dionne moved to Florida to continue her work in the field as a direct service provider.
In 2020, Chanel Dionne was awarded, "Survivor Advocate of the Year", by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. In 2022, Chanel Dionne was appointed by Mayor Lenny Curry of Jacksonville to join the Sex Trafficking Survivor Council. Chanel earned her B.S. in Sociology and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Nonprofit Management.
Chanel Dionne currently serves on the advisory board of directors and scholarship committee for Everwell scholarship that provides support to survivors pursuing education.
Today, Chanel continues her work as a subject matter expert and international public speaker who facilitates training that focuses on survivor-centered care, human trafficking awareness, and improving models of care that support system-impacted persons. In her spare time, Chanel Dionne most enjoys spending time with her 4 beautiful children.
